I noticed today how beautiful the blue sky is coming through the clouds. All the changing shapes, colors and swirls of the cloud formations are much like what our lives are like. Each day brings a new adventure, a new opportunity. A new day filled with seeing things in a different way.
I long to stay on the course of noticing more throughout the day through Christ’s eyes. I pray for His assistance to help me be more Christ-like so I notice the refreshing way I view and react in this world.
I know without His hand in my life, I am miserable. I know this may seem extreme, but a sense of not being fulfilled has a way of taking over when I don’t stay the course. Being able to notice people and their feelings in depth and what I can do to help, makes my life much more rich.
When we notice what God has opened up in our lives and hearts, we begin to notice things at such a deeper level than we could have ever imagined before.
Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. Ephesisians 5:1-2
